Yes, I know of one courageous woman blogger of Middle East background who peacefully challenges popular spun and cowardly Gov’t/media propaganda, amidst calls from religious leaders crying for blood, regarding the need to bomb Iran back to the stone age.
Her impeccible research and courage in speaking truth to power and injustice has led to personal hateful attacks and death threats against her.
Personally I have never been attacked because of my gender but only because others have objected to the content of My viewpoint.
I can only conclude that irrational people facing a woman armed with truth and knowledge start to shit their pants and ooze all kinds of puss and hatred.
